Design Summary
The JKBR logo is the first logo I made for one of my first web design projects. It was a fun way to create and document stuff I was already doing (trying different beers with friends) and turn it into a portfolio piece.
The Process
I wanted to create something simple, and memorable for the Jonah Kragt Beer Reviews logo. So first I started with some sketches to get the ball rolling. Here I just created some simple signatures and drawing using my initials and various beer glasses. For the logo itself I found it looked the most appealing with the JKBR inside a glass.

Final Logo
The final logo came together by combining a beer glass with the JKBR signature to create a simple yet striking composition that is nicely accented by the foam or head of the beer to add some balance. Overall, this was a fun quick project to help me put together one of my first websites.
