Design Summary
The Spectrum Logo project has been one of my favorites to date. The brief was fairly simple: The word Spectrum included in the logo along with some iconography that can stand alone without the word. EX: Metallica M or RHCP asterisk. Minimalist font and design. Leading to a monochromatic design that can work with almost any color scheme.
The Process
From here it was important to look at the precedent logos the client had sent me and create some iterations based upon those. I put on their album “The Maze” and listened to that while I came up with the first round of iterations. From there it was all about communicating back and forth with the client until we settled on a final design.

The final logo was a culmination of the brief and the iterations that came before it, the Spectrum logo is a monochromatic perspective waveform that encapsulates the music of Spectrum. It was a project I had a lot of fun working on from start to finish.
